Ending sale and support for Fisheye and Crucible
Atlassian is ending the sale and support for Fisheye and Crucible, their last remaining server products. These products have been in maintenance mode since 2020, and there has been a growing trend of customers moving towards newer software development technologies and products.
- May 13, 2025: New sales of Fisheye and Crucible licenses will be discontinued.
- May 15, 2028: Support and maintenance for Fisheye and Crucible will end.
Recommended actions:
- Crucible customers are advised to use the “Project transfer for Crucible” app to download code reviews and metadata.
- Git users who wish to continue with Atlassian products can consider Bitbucket Data Center or Bitbucket Cloud.
- Non-Git users can explore alternatives through Atlassian Marketplace apps and partners, such as Sourcegraph.
